Working in a newsroom is both riveting and sometimes mentally exhausting. We reporters see a lot of tragedy, and I can honestly say most of us are pretty good at presenting the facts while putting aside our emotions. But once in a while a story comes along that hits you, the one you can't shake when you lie down at night. For me, Avery Pringle was one of those stories.
